he saidfor 1000 bucks you can make this machine like new. Ahh, well
that'smighty OK if I only paid 500 for it!
Givehim hell!Ok,I also wrote asking for more information. Got pretty much the sametype of reply. This is what happens when you deal with someone whohas the combination of the personality of a buffalo fart with a full-scaleIQ that is less than his chronological age. In my field, I call themmy colleagues (present company excepted, of course).

M400#908Hi Folks , Undaunted, I ventured forth to see what response I'd get.
Unlike the two gruff replies indicated above, here's his cordial
verbatim email reply from that M400 seller in Toronto.........(howdy jerry-i have no picture-it needs a paint job-
it needs to be cleaned-it has a cmc-10-the serial
# is 1038-there is an extra tape rack(original choir)
plus one inside(flutes ect)-it will play
notes(warbled)-it needs TLC-it hasn't been used in
ten years so metal parts are dirty but in good shape
some of the rubber could be rotten??????
everything works but needs cleaning-if i fix it myself
i'll keep it- iam going to get a digital camera (asap)
just imagine a dirty version of the posted picture- rod )I worded my questions carefully,as not to cause frayed nerves.
If that unit were lower in price , it would definitely be worth it
to try to fixer-up. (This is provided as a publicservice anouncements
to all Mellotronists, big/small,young/old, crazy and..........Hmm.
