Subject: Re: Through what or not.

My M400 sits in my computer/music room; no live gigs for it anymore.

In the olde days, #500 passed through a Phase Linear 400 amplifier powering 2 folded horn enclosures, each contaiing 2 15" EV speakers, 2 midrange cabinets, each containing 25  4 1/2" speakers, and 4 Heil AMT1 elements. But now,

#500 --> Mackie mixer w/ reverb --> M-Audio Audiophile 2496 soundcard in my PC --> Onkyo 100w amplifier --> JBL 4311 speakers.

It was going through a Joe Meek 3Q before going into the Mackie up until a couple of days ago, but I tend to like the sound with as little processing as possible. After all, Mellotrons already sound perfect, so there's nothing that can improve the sound. \":x\"

Sometimes I divert the signal into Cubase SX to record it.
