Mellotrons turn up in the most unlikely of situations!
Watching TotP tonight I was amazed to see a white M400 on stage during a live "acoustic" version of some awful song by Shakira (something about "underneath your clothes").
There were two acoustic guitars, a bloke playing the tom toms and a 7 foot coloured guy with amazing dreadlocks hunched over the mellotron - got good views from both the front and the back.
The song was still crap though...
