I've done a fair few Tron overdubs here and there and one of my
perennial faves was what I did to 'White man In Hammersmith Palais' by
the Clash. (Which is a great song, incidentally - just not very
∗Mellotron∗, that's all) For the record I used church organ and string
section.
I also did the same thing to 'Peggy Sue' (another great song) using Mk
II brass and I thought it sounded ∗better∗. Then again, I was pissed
as a twat at the time.(∗)
