Hi Norm and Gang,    When I ordered my M400 from theUK
new in 1973, it came with "standard" set

A:  Mixed Brass ,     B:   3-Violins  ,     C:  Flute.

Was able to mimic King Crimson, Moodies, YES, Genesis, etc.
way back then, at age 19.     Every StatesideM400  seen
around same time, was fitted  with  Cello/3-Violins/Flute.

....Therefore,  I assumed the latter was the "American" Std.Set.
Now I realize that this was the  famous  "BBS" tape set.

...Guess I had bespoke tapes in my M400 #681 from day-one.
Was purchased July-1973 from Sound City  .  Had to wirethe
funds from local bank, then pay for air cargo and customs broker
myself, before the M400 was delivered.

.....Cost of air cargo in 1973 was   $160.00  , plus $50.00 customs
broker fee.        I still haveall receipts, now turning the same
faded colours as the original M400 cabinet finish.  Cheers, -JK
