because where I live at least most musicians are inherently lazy bastards who throw
together a blues band to go out and make a few easy bucks, down some free beers, and
get laid, and because the blues songs are "easy". Progressive rock takes ability and drive
(not to mention rigid rehearsals) which most of the musicians I know seem to lack.
Blues maintains a state of consciousness that continually bemoans the state of current
affairs instead of getting off the arse and moving forward (PROGRESSING)
