I can't even begin to imagine how much work went into those
recordings, especially considering that monophonic synths were used
and the sounds had to be changed every couple of bars. Wait, yes I
can...I once stumbled into the Studio C control room of Record Plant
in NY when Gershon Kingsley was doing a session. The 16-track had to
be stopped every couple of seconds so he could change the settings
on his Moog.

Imagine what Spike Jones could have done with a Moog band!
