We are sad to report that Peter Leversley, the man behind the electronics for all mellotrons, from MKIIs to M400s has died of a heart attack at the age of 70. He was standing in a queue waiting for and english cup of tea having been dancing with his dear wife Dorothy when he collapsed. He never regained consciousness.
Peter was a gem of a bloke and often helped us when we got stuck. He made SMS2 boards for us until very recently and designed an alternative motor control for Mr Fripp's MKII when we needed extra stability. He was a genius and we will miss him.
