If you're suggesting using a Y cable to combine the left and right outputs (to somehow get
greater output), don't do that. To combine two outputs directly can inject current from
one output ∗into∗ the output stage of the other channel, which you just don't want to do.
My DW8000 can easily drive the input of a Mackie CR1604VLZ mixer channel, even in Poly
mode, so there's something wrong with your setup. As others have suggested, you
probably have the "Lo/Hi" switch in back by the outputs set to "Lo" and you need to set it
to "Hi" for a standard instrument input on an amplifier.
As the other reply suggested, you might have created patches on your DW8000 with the
oscillator volume set low, so check your patches.
And alternatively, check the input trim on your amplifier, and ensure that your amp
doesn't have a bad channel.
