What is that "timing precision"? Is it some quantizing? If yes: can you
turn it off? Or at least set it to 1/32 triplet
The quantizing orientates to the internal clock. As your pianorole does
not sync to the internal clock (and also does not send a clock to sync
sonar to it), this will make all the ritardandi and "in between" notes
stumble to the next quantizing mark according to the internal clock.
Also running the sonar at a high tempo will increase the resolution of
the MIDI recording.
