    <p>What is that "timing precision"? Is it some quantizing? If yes:

      can you turn it off? Or at least set it to 1/32 triplet</p>

    <p>The quantizing orientates to the internal clock. As your

      pianorole does not sync to the internal clock (and also does not

      send a clock to sync sonar to it), this will make all the

      ritardandi and "in between" notes stumble to the next quantizing

      mark according to the internal clock. </p>

    <p>Also running the sonar at a high tempo will increase the

      resolution  of the MIDI recording.</p>
