[sdiy] Bit Crunch

Be prepared to be surprised... a bit limited system retains an awful
amount of the original data.
I did a hex guitar fuzz with six "Big Muff II" circuits. I expected
absolute mayhem.
I got something that was barely distorted. Each string had like 100%
harmonic
distortion... but with six of them summed the output waveform has six
discrete
amplitude levels and no IM distortion...
It sounded sweet like a choir or string machine. Not expected but VERY
expected once you consider how it really works.
I bet even a four bit system retains quite a bit (well four bits) of
fideltiy
