[sdiy] preamp or other secret weapons for lo-fi ness a la Basic Channel/Deep Chord... broken filter like Pole?

The key elements of the space echo (the real randomness)"
1. Motor speed (and wobbles in motor) + inertia from changing speeds
2. Background hiss
3. Tape saturation


All three of these factor contribute to the overal truly random background
texture. These types of noise glitches are what I would like to produce.
