Toggle switches don't belong in round holes. You're either using
a D-Hole, or two round holes (one of them a blind hole on the rear
of the panel).
Ok, I'm just boasting. I've put toggle switches into round holes
for 20 years as well. But once you can make a rectangular hole
for a slide switch, you probably have the means to create a D-hole
for a toggle switch as well.
Personally I like slides for functions that aren't used often -
they are not so prone to unintended switching. And I use toggles
where I want to switch something during a performance.
Now, a *real* good solution are rocker switches, of course.I just start to
explore these.
