[sdiy] lm vs njm

there 'might' be a subtle difference.
I used these in the Etherwave P/V converter clone that I did
(PV-1, with Bob's kind permission)
Now there were a couple of hidden weenies in Bob's schematic...
were they oversights or 'easter eggs' for people who clone without
permission ???
Anyway, I found two. One semi-obvious. One totally obscure.
The differential input voltage limit is 5V for both parts. Bob set up
on +/-12V so he had 6V. I used +/-15V so I had 7.5V (biased for 1/2
Vdd).
The National parts worked in all cases. The NJM would work at 6V
differential, but failed at 7.5V differential.
Changing the bias points below 5V was the fix.
So there ARE some differences, and you might possibly see them. I'd call
them
interchangable, for all intents and purposes.
Except when it ain't so... :^P
