Here's the details of the short:
There is a jumper (wire link) you need to install on the top of the board
between Pin 12 of U5 to ground. At the end of the jumper furthest from the
IC (at the ground bus) the pad is too large... so the ground bus is
connected to the adjacent trace on the circuit board.
You need to seperate the pad from the neighboring trace, but leave it
conencted to the ground bus
