[sdiy] Commercial 1v/octave keyboards?

Just an addition to this thread, as I am also interested in buying (or better building) a 1V/Octave keyboard.
I came upon the following page and schematic, which is based on the 74C922 Keyboard decoder IC.

Now the interesting thing I found out about this is that the GATE pulse is not held constantly on if the Keyboard is played Legato.
According the the 74C922 data, a normal 'debounce' function is performed when another key is pressed, so the GATE pulse is re-triggered each time.
Depending on what you want, it may be easy to make an addition to this circuit to generate seperate GATE and TRIGGER pulses.
