Generic method...
If you run the sequencer clock through a differentiator (RC
hipass filter) and drive the base of a transistor you can use that
to crowbar (force) the gate signal to go low at the beginning of each
step.
This will only work when the gate is high... if it is programmed low
there
will br no effect.
