I'm afraid I don't get the question.  Polyphonic in what sense and what 
special requirements are there?

Its intended use is with my new chaos generator -- using the signal from 
one output to trigger sampling of another one.  This will produce what are 
known as "first return maps", with discrete rather than continuous 
outputs.  The gate and trigger signals come out to the panel so they can be 
used independently of the S/H for triggering EG's.
