Howdy,

 Why not go to All electronics, buy a Peltier chip or
2, and figure out a way to quietly move the cold side
air through the unit, Back across the hot side, and
then outside, or in the attic. That is where you put
your suction fan, filter the input and Bob's your
uncle. In a sound dampened box, you can run dryer vent
hoses to any location away from your "quiet space".
Yeah I know, too much sci-fi and a hassle. Not to
mention just plain weird.
