Hi Tim,
Just tried it on the ESQ-1.... there's a lot of ESQ-1 digital noise on top
of the sine waveforms unfortunately... one of the bad aspects of that
synth... otherwise it's quite likeable IMHO. The "sync oscillators at
keydown" function is on the menu accessed by pressing the Modes button.
It's simply called "OSC-ON" or "OSC-OFF". Syncing does give a somewhat more
powerful attack to the sound. Setting the VCF to fixed cutoff and adjusting
it carefully removes some of the noise. Noise is much less noticeable when
using saw, square etc waveforms.
