  Just make PIC burner.  There are instructions on the Midibox website.

  It's a pretty easy project and allows for programming the 16 and 18 PICs.
Cost me under $10 and the software works very well.

I need to program some pic's (PIC18F4620 & PIC18F452) for the midi box seq &
SID I'm currently building.
I haven't checked the web yet, but I'm wondering if I need to buy a PIC
programmer or should I build one?
ANy links to where to find shematics or a cheap programmer?
