I use a warp 13a from newfound electronics, emulates a MicroChip programmer
so integrates into MPLab. I'm not sure they produce them anymore though.

Subject: [sdiy] PIC programmer
I need to program some pic's (PIC18F4620 & PIC18F452) for the midi box seq &
SID I'm currently building.
I haven't checked the web yet, but I'm wondering if I need to buy a PIC
programmer or should I build one?
ANy links to where to find shematics or a cheap programmer?
Cheers,
Tom Adam
