pff, don't start about space. ;-)
we just had our 2nd dutch astronaut (actually a cosmonaut) in the ISS in
orbit, so 'space' has been all over tv and the papers here for
weeks...supreme tv though.. reporter has 30 seconds of very expensive
satellite time for interview with a guy who just has been shot into space.
first question he asks: 'can you see holland from up there? '
it's actually very cool to see all the vintage stuff and technology the
russians still use, and proves to be very reliable. ..
oh, and this week i was very happy to find for 50 cents a copy of a 12" from
1978 by a french synth disco band called.. Space. on blue vinyl too.. and
these guys used lots of analogue synths (in fact their records still sound
superb all around) which brings us nicely into semi on-topicness again..;-)
r./
(who took the space-bait instead..)
