Just a quick note for the space cadets out there:
Today is the 43rd anniversary of astronaut Alan Shepard's suborbital flight
into space (America's first). I just thought that was a slightly interesting
tidbit.
Oh, and uh..., uhmm... (think of something to get it back on topic Tim...)
Okay, 4016 CMOS switches are sonically superior to the 4066. They are more
"transparent" and have much better second harmonic distortion
characteristics. Especially when used with cables made from virgin oxygen
free copper. And listened to early in the morning when the mains power is
cleaner. And (insert audiophile myth here)...
Cheers,
Tim (waiting to see who takes the 4016 vs 4066 bait) Servo
