[sdiy] "Audio" vs. "Log" taper

(well since you ASKED :^)

Since my volume pots include a feedback control (namely ME)... I often use
LINEAR pots, or audio, or log taper as my stock supports.

The use of taper effects the "feel" of the attenuation but does not change the
actual circuit in any way... Try the one you like. I find that linear are often
suited
just fine for my level control applications
