[sdiy] Panels, Transistor replacement for Oberheim Mini-sequencer

Greetings,

Knowing that many here have used Schaeffer to make their front panels, I have a
question.  How do you set up the threading to accept pots and banana jacks? 
I've already drawn up some panels in the program but I am unsure about doing
the threading so that the hardware can be screwed in.  I'm in the US and the
default offered by the program is metric gobbledygook.

Also, building the Oberheim mini-sequencer looks like an interesting project,
but the 2N4032 transistor in it is obsolete.  What suitable replacements are
there for this part?
