I am not sure you would want to do that.
I am not sure how much they charge to tap the holes (since I never did
that), but I imagine it will add quite a bit to the cost.
Also, for pots, there is probably no predetermined way to know how the pots
are going to be oriented when you screw them in. If there is plenty of
space around the pot, this will not be a problem.
Also, for the jacks, I am not too sure if this is a good idea. Banana
jacks have double flats on them. And getting them tight into the panel
might be a bit of a problem. You will still need to put a nut on the back
to make sure they don't come loose. Nice thing about a double flat hole is
even if the come loose, they won't rotate.
Just my thoughts.
