[sdiy] which oscilloscope?

I've used Tektronix scopes at work and I agree that they are among the best
and can take quite a physical beating as well. At home, (years ago), I
built an Eico 460 (460 KILOhertz) kit, single trace and while it worked and
was able to display audio frequency signals, it does not do well with high
frequency (megahertz) noise, ringing, unwanted OpAmp oscillation, etc. When
the 460 went out last time, I decided to get a new scope. I bought a dual
trace 20 mHz job from BK Precision (model 2120). Brand new for $300. My
opinion is that this would be the minimum scope for analog synth DIY work.
So far, nothing I've done has been beyond the capability of this scope, eg.
troubleshooting ADSR, VCO, VCF, VCA and microprocessor (MIDI2CV) stuff.
