Hi all,

  This is slightly OT, but not much :-) A friend of mine who's a puppeteer is
looking to incorporate some automatic midi triggering into his sets &
puppets. What he wants is a small simple control board with a load of
connections for switches that will generate a fixed MIDI event (e.g. note
on/off) for the switch closing and opening. Has anyone come across anything
like that before? I'm sure there must be quite a few designs out there. Oh,
and it would be ideal if a discrete circuit not involving PIC's existed as he
hasn't got a programmer IIRC....
