It wasn't presented as an option, whatever it is.  When I put it together, I
was just following the instructions blindly.
All the jacks are stereo and it looks like when a plug goes in it connects
the ground to one of the pins of a transistor.
I'm not really experienced enough to figure out what exactly that means in
terms of how it works.
Maybe I should be asking paia about this one :)
