Dear Tom and list,
I believe the OBXA uses a max690 ic [ data at the maxin web site ], so
it seems you could use a Lithium 3.6 volt battery instead of a 3 volt
one , as the datasheet suggests that 3.6 volts is within the acceptable
input range for the ic .
is it correct that the OBMX software upgrade is a 1 meg eprom on the
processor board and a 27256 eprom on each voice card ?
anyone know how many different versions of the software were released ?
regards Peter
