ahh, you want a MIDI synth module.

ok, carefull with the use of 'Wavetable', if we're talking PC soundcard
wavetable then you're after something like a GM synth (if you just want to
buy something rather than build), something like a TG300 or one of the GEM
modules.
If you mean wavetable as in PPG wavetable, then you're into a different ball
game, again you have 'off the shelf' versions available from waldorf
(microwave, XT, etc)
If you want to build something then, unless you've built synths before,
you're probably going to be looking at a monosynth.. Polysynths are not easy
to build adding wavetable (in either variety) adds to the complexity and
cost.
