I've heard enough of this idiotic crap, and I don't see how any of this
belongs on synth-diy.

Even if Andy asked for your Social Security and DOB, that certainly does
not mean he "tried to steal your identity". That he dropped the request
after you refused means nothing. So there is no reason to believe that
"sort of activity was happening on this list". It seems much more like
baseless slander.

Furthermore, why the @#$%& would anyone want to steal your identity??
According to you, you have no credit and no assets. Otherwise, why
wouldn't you simply give him his money back after the mixer was allegedly
stolen??

I have had numerous deals with Andy McPhive, and I have had absolutely no
problems. He has always been honest and courteous. He was more than
patient when I shipped him my mixer a couple of days late after I found it
wouldn't fit in the car -- a deal that had already been delayed because you
had $600 of his money.

What I don't understand, that even if the mixer was stolen by your then
roommate, where did the money go?? Did your roommate rob your bank as
well?? If you hadn't shipped the gear yet, the money wasn't yours to spend.

So I would just like to say, Andy McPhive is a great trader. Although I
think he should have enough gear by now, and should probably spend more
time painting and making music :)
