[sdiy] sn76477 external control

The SN76477 is a single-supply chip, right?  Someone figured out you can
get more range/linearity from a 566 VCO by powering it between GND/V-
instead of V+/GND.  

Perhaps the same can be done here?  A half octave would KILL me.
