Hey Ben. Thanks. I'm familar with the EFM Yahoo Group. About a week ago I 
searched the group archive for the Bass Ace info I needed and was confused by 
a couple of posts. So I posted questions there about 5 days ago and 
unfortunately I haven't had a definitive response yet. I know that the 
documentation for the unit is sparse and now I'm wondering if I can get help 
from EFM if I need it. The Fatman is probably a better starter kit, but the 
Bass Ace is more appealing if my assumption that it's V/oct is correct. 
Thanks to responses from kind members of this list I now know that it is.
