You are lucky indeed, all the poly six's that have been repaired at work had 
the same problem- no copper tracks around the battery! It gets a little bit 
monotinous using wire wrap wire to fix this problem....!!

a good idea is to mount the battery off the board somewhere so you dont have 
to worry about this problem ever!!!

btw the battery is nicd not litheum...

These switches are the same as the switches in the tr-808, no i dont think 
you can get replacment tact switches for these..... No problem though. If 
you get the more common switches that are used in the 303 and 606, and 
remove the switch cap mounting post, these will fit in. You might need to 
fill a hole in the actuator as well-hot glue works good!!! (hope this makes 
sence)
