A few months ago I passed a big pile of brass instrument cases, guitar cases, 
etc.  all on the sidewalk of 48th street (lots of sam ash, manny's music, 
etc.) but they were all pretty fucked up, so I didn;t take any, but I did 
check them out!

I am looking in second hand shops for suitcases that might hold my sbm for 
cheap.
haven;t looked very hard tho, since I am not going to travel with it any time 
soon.

when I was a kid a had a wine case that was a hinged box that held two wine 
bottles.  'll be on the lookout for some of those for a nice suitcase synth 
project...

if I only knew how to make an ems/serge/buchla style flat keyboard...
