[sdiy] cheap cabinate idea, crossposted.

someone's probably done this before,  but on wednedsay I was walking through 
manhattan and in a small pile of trash I found a small wooden box that was 
perfect for my efm modules.  

it was a wine case box with one side open, and all other sides sealed.  the 
inside space measured 18.5" x 12" and it is made of thin light wood, but 
rugged enough for my needs.  I thought of it as a quick temporary solution, 
but then I got to thinking that there must be heaps of different wine cases, 
some more sturdy and thick than others, maybe even different sizes.  
So it may end up being permanant if I can;t be bothered making cabinates any 
time soon (school started back up, so saved time helps alot!) and if there 
are ones made of better/thicker wood.  

So soon I might just pop into some of these wine and liquer stores in my area 
and see what is around.  this might be a quick and easy solution for people 
just starting out.
