[sdiy] CAD conversion freeware proggies

Yeah, this is what I am finding out.. I have gotten somewhat decent results
with KVEC, but its very hard to fine tune it properly.. It seems to add
squiggles in otherwise straight lines and such, but I got it into dxf and
loaded it into Bobcad, and am trying to clean up the lines and straighten
them out..

I thought that was what vectoring was good for, or? Didn't seem to do a
really good job on this one, and I am afraid that with all those squiggles
my CNC program is going to have a fit! Some huge, unneeded billion line CNC
program will prlly be generated, unfortunately..

I guess KVEC has many switches that need to be used to fine tune the
conversion, so I will mess with the switches until i am satisfied, sad, or
both! :)

For very simple things it seems okay, but its just too damn squiggly..

Rob
