The best way is to just re-do the layout with a modern cad system... or
try to photographically capture the actual layout. I suggest the re-layout.
If its worth doing... taking the time to do it right is a good idea. You could
make several boards and offer them to other DIY'ers and maybe get yours
free...
If the circuit is not protected by patent... there is no problem doing a
relayout
because it would then be "your" artwork and not infringe the copyright.
I would also identify the spiritual source of your design so that no one accuses
you of immorality in taking designs without credit (even if legal...). You all
KNOW what I'm saying...
