Perhaps I wasn't clear. It can't be done for a reverse log pot acting as
a resistor. And this is the main use for these things in most of our
circuits. eg. fixed Q tone controls, SSM2017 gain adjust, wah pedals,
Smallstone phasor, moog filter. Changing the resistor to the other side
of the pot makes no difference at all in the resistor mode.
But you are right it can be made to work if the pot is acting as a
reverse log potential divider.
