Fellow CS80-philes:

Any of you know of a way to lighten the action of the beast's keyboard?

It's a tad too stiff for my chronically tendinitis-afflicted hands.

Thanx!

I doubt you can adjust the action without actually replacing the keys.
The only reasonable, if expensive, way to do this is to add the Kenton
MIDI kit. Then you can use any MIDI keyboard.

Good luck!

Personally, it's one of my favorites for keyboard action and response. I'm surprised some of you folks find it a hindrance. It really helps me play more rhythmically and in time with other musicians.
...Just my two drachmas (euros) worth.

Actually, I also enjoy the feeling of the kb a lot.
Problem is that after playing really fast riffs for a few minutes, my
tendons ache.
This problem started many years ago while playing-ironically-my
Yamaha KX88. I should have taken a break back then, but I didn't, and
this lead to subsequent need for carpal tunnel surgery. I don't have
nerve entapment anymore, but I still fear injuries from excessive
playing. The only kb that doesn't hurt me like this is my Roland
piano. It's like buttah!!

;-P
