Yamaha CS80

The "on/off" switch by the chorus and tremolo rocker switches applies a
certain kind of effect even when the dedicated tremolo and chorus
switches are turned off. Can you identify this effect please?

The manual says " if neither chourus nor tremolo is desired, this
switch should be OFF " which I do not agreee since it applies a soft
chours itself. When chorus and tremolo effects can individually be
switched on and off, what is the usage of this no name rocker?

What I know:
to switch the "on" button does arm the circuitry of the chorus, id est it
applies a fixed 6ms delay and a phasing effect courtesy of a loop between
the output of the BBD chip and the 2 inputs of the same chip. When you
switch the "chorus" on you actually activate the LFOs providing the AM and
vibrato on the already active delay. To keep just the switch ON without
activating the Ch\Tr does add some "magic" to the sound, it thickens it
although flattens it a little

the switch engages the chorus amps(modulated delays) in a braked
position(parked leslie effect)left and right outputs are mono out of
phase with each other...
