WTB: Yamaha CS-80 wheel/caster socket

WTB: Yamaha CS-80 wheel/caster socket

2012-05-31 by Mitchell Manger

My Yamaha CS-80 is missing one of its four wheel/caster sockets, so I need a replacement. Does anyone have a spare CS-80 wheel/caster socket for sale?  I could probably pay $100 just for one of them, as it would make my CS-80 complete.

Alternatively, does anyone make reproductions of them, or did Yamaha use them on any other models of musical instruments or other products?

Thank you,

Mitchell Manger

Hey Mitch,

I have some wheels from Electone organs of that era. Send me or post a picture and if it matches you can just have it for the price of shipping. Long shot, but who knows...

best,

Damon

Hi Damon,

The socket has to be EXACTLY like the wheel sockets shown here:

Please confirm and let me know how I can paypal you for the wheel socket.    If you could also let me know who you are (last name) so that I can make sure you're a real person, etc, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,

Mitchell

WTB: Yamaha CS-80 right cheekblock

2012-06-18 by Mitchell Manger

My Yamaha CS-80 has a modified right cheekblock, and I would like to make my CS-80 l0ok all original.  Does anyone have a spare CS-80 right cheekblock in original condition for sale?  I could probably pay $200 for it.

As the right cheekblocks on CS-50, CS-60, and CS-70M synths are all of a different size than that on the CS-80 and will not fit properly, please do not offer or sell me one from a CS-50, CS-60, and CS-70M.

Thank you,

Mitchell Manger

I am still looking to buy a CS-80 right cheekblock in original condition. I can now offer $250 for one in very good shape or better.

Again, as the right cheekblocks on CS-50, CS-60 and CS-70M synths are all of a different size than that on the CS-80 and will not fit properly, please do not offer or sell me one from a CS-60, CS-60, or CS-70M.

Thank you,
