can anyone explain how the heck the Chorus works ?

Hi all
Same as on object.
This is *not* related to my nagging to arturia,
this is just for personal curiosity.
Will any kind soul in here enlighten me now
?
I examined the diagram and the chorus should work
like this: input>lpf>mn3001bbd>lpf> two couples vcas...when ON ,the
signal is affected with no fades in and DEPTH controls just the modulation
( is it bipolar? )
