PROBLEM WITH A CS-50

PROBLEM WITH A CS-50

2010-12-17 by cuari7

Hi, guys,

While you are in a problem-solving mode, I need to ask you:

I have a CS-50 which was working great, the all of a sudden started to have one of its 4 voices sounding as if the resonance is set up to max, and the filter cutoff is always fixed at the same level; essentially, the same "patch" always regardless of what I choose or what parameter I tweak.
Any suggestions?

Thanks!

JDiaz

If it just stopped working, and there was no transport involved it's
most likely not the trimmer. My bet would be the VCF chip - I've got the
same behaviour from a broken SH-101 filter, i. e full resonance.
