I was looking to ship my CS 80 from Maryland to California and got a quote from Craters and Freighters (recommended and used by a few list members). They quoted me $995. Is that in line with what others have seen for shipping a CS 80? Any safe alternatives? thanks

I don't have recent info. When I sold my CS80 about 4 years ago, I think it was only $1000 to build a shipping case and send it to London! I think you should ask on AH. David tmoravan wrote:
