Can anyone tell me if the "initial" and "after"
velocity sliders at the end of each synth line in CS-80 do cause a decrease
in the volume when raised up? When not what is the xact behaviour of these
sliders?
I can't code and I don't own a CS-80: but I'm
interested in details as much as possible because I'm working shoulder to
shoulder with Xavier of Arturia to get the most exact infos about the machine
for the next update of CS-80V,and I'm trying to shape the panel presets as close
as possible to the original presets; I'm not taking a single cent for it,
it's all because I'm in love with this old monster : unfortunately, Xavier's own
CS-80 isn't working perfectly ( troubles with the ribbon and need for tuning
VCOs and calibrating VCFs and envelopes ) and actually he doesn't know where to
find a restorer there in France; I own a copy of all the manuals and some data
sheets of Chorus section, as Xavier owns as well; that's why I'm constantly in
need for infos!
Actually what I need are
Initial/after sliders behaviour
Initial pitchbend: highest value at highest
velocity
Chorus: delay times and behaviour of Depth
mode
Ringmodulator: highest speed at highest DEPTH
value
