In my CS80,The Chorus/Tremolo On/Off Button retriggering the ring modulator !!!

Hi.

In my CS80,The Chorus/Tremolo On/Off Button retriggering the ring modulator !!!
This happens every time I active the On/Off button on the chorus/tremolo section.
If I play a chord and hold down the notes, and then Lowering the decay, depht and speed of the ring modulator, and play on off with the button of the chorus tremolo section.

How is this possible?
Also because the chorus and the ring modulators are in two different cards,he OE 1&2 and the PRA !!!
Help Me.
Thanks

Tommaso

let me understand better....

you are using ring mod with all 5 parameters on....correct?

as you hold a chord, you turn off the middle 3 (decay, depth and
speed) leaving attack and ring on..correct?

then you change between chorus and off...

What is being retriggered? the Attack of the RingM Envelope
with some Depth leakage at 0 or

a speed change in the slow ringmod that is still engaged?

the RM envelope should only retrigger if "all" notes have
been lifted...

No.
With all 5 parameters ON,hold a chord and change only the On/Off button on the chorus/tremolo section.
Every time you change this button, retrigger the envelope.

The attack and decay envelope of the Ring modulator.

Yes,normally, but in my cs80 even when I change that button! ^___^

Might be a bad solder joint, and the mechanical force from pushing a button nearby causes an intermittent contact to trigger the
envelope ...
